Parking
Parking on Pickawillany residential streets is not allowed. Primarily this is for fire safety reasons to
guarantee ready access of fire engines in case of fire.
Excerpt from the Resident owners manual
Parking in Pickawillany is severely limited. Each resident is provided parking space for two
automobiles: one in the unit's assigned garage and one in a designated outside parking space.
All additional cars must be parked on Blue Jacket Road, a city street dedicated for this
purpose. Blue Jacket Road must also be used for guest parking. Parking of RV's, trucks,
boats, trailers, and the like on the Pickawillany property is strictly forbidden. Parking
violations are subject to a maximum $50.00 enforcement charge and/or towing.
Unlicensed motor vehicles of any type are not permitted to be parked on Pickawillany
property and may be towed at the owner's expense without notice.
"N. Vehicles. The Board may promulgate rules and regulations restricting or prohibiting the parking
of automobiles, inoperable vehicles, unlicensed vehicles, trucks, boats and recreational vehicles on
the condominium property, or parts thereof, and may enforce such regulations or restrictions by
levying enforcement charges, having such vehicles towed away, or taking such other actions as it,
in its sole discretion, deems appropriate".
NOTE:
The space in front of your garage door is not a designated parking place and should be kept clear.
In many cases parking in this area severely restricts your neighbor's access to their garage. Please respect
your neighbor by advising your guests and or maintenance/repair workers of the appropriate place to park
their vehicles so as not to block your neighbor's access. Below is a parking diagram map of the Pick area. A map of parking places may also be obtained from
Buckeye Management. Please adhere to the parking space designations for each unit as described on the
map.
